Abstract Submission


The deadline for abstracts submitted for presentation within the “Transpersonal psychology and new paradigm in science” symposium which will take place within the ITA conference is the 31st of March 2010.

 

Basic Guidelines:

Only two different abstracts will be accepted from the same main (principal) author. All abstracts must be submitted in MS Word 2003 format. Each abstract must be submitted as a separate file. The abstract name must be in English and contain the surname and initials of the main (principal) author, country of origin, city and abstract ID without any punctuation or spaces.

 

E.g. “SmithABUnitedKingdomLondon1” if only abstract is presented or “SmithABUnitedKingdomLondon1” and  “SmithABUnitedKingdomLondon2” if two abstracts are presented.

 

  Abstracts are submitted

Abstracts are submitted via email as attachments to the following address   k.pylev@aviakassa.ru . Please note that abstracts that are sent as text within emails will not be considered. Please indicate “Abstract” as the subject of the email. After this within the subject field you will need to add the following details: surname and initials of the main (principal) author, country of origin, city and the number of abstracts.

 

At the end you will also need to submit a filled in form with the author’s personal details. (found here)

 

 

Abstract submission guidelines: 

  • Page parameters : an indent of 2cm must be observed. Top, bottom, left and right.

  • Page size : A4 (210x297 mm).

  • Page orientation : portrait.

  • Style : Standard.

  • Font: Times New Roman

  • Font Size: 12pt.

  • Spacing: single spacing

  • Within the abstract the author should:

  • Use only his own findings.

  • Not use abbreviations and shorthand unless they are internationally recognized.

  • Present all statistical data as absolute numbers or percentages.

  • Not use illustrations and tables.

  • Quote authors whose data or ideas have contributed to the abstract. Origins of used materials should be indicated in round brackets.

Please note that abstract submission is not considered as a request for attendance of the conference as a speaker. In order to attend the conference, please go to the “online registration” page of the website.

 

Abstract heading: 

  • Abstract author surname and initials - centered in italics.

  • Country of Origin – centered in italics.

  • City – centered in italics

  • Aim – Summary of the reason behind the research.

  • Materials and methods – main methods and stages of the research.

  • Results – confirmed results of the conducted research.

  • Summary – a brief summary of the results and findings and their impact.

  • Bibliography – a list of sources used for the research

 

The organisers reserve the right to reject submitted material that does not comply with the presented guidelines for the “Transpersonal psychology and new paradigm in science” symposium. Submitted material is not returned.

Submitted abstracts will be published at the rate of 7$ per page.

 

Please note this charge does not include the abstract compilation.
